Hey all, i'm Christina Aguilera. I was born on Dec. 18, 1980 making me...yep 25 years old. I was born in Staten Island, NY, but with my dad being in the military we ended up moving around quiet a lot. We finally settled in Philadelphia, where my mom started entering me in talent shows all over the city.

In 1988 at just 8 years old, I performed on Star Search, where a lot of the talent you see now a days started off. Unfortunately I didn't win, but because of that, I was lucky enough to join the cast of the new Mickey Mouse Club which also included Britney Spears, Justin and JC from *NSYNC and Keri Russell. After two years of being on the show, it got canceled, and I was asked by Disney to record a song for the soundtrack of "Mulan" called "Reflection". That performance alone helped get me my contract with RCA Management. My self-titled album hit #1, with singles "Genie in a Bottle", "What a Girl Wants", and "I Turn To You".

Two years later, I saw how much the latin pop had escalated, and me being half-equadorian, I put out a Spanish language album entitled "Mi Reflejo". Learning Spanish to make this album was amazing, and helped put me in touch with my roots. Following that album, I put out a Christmas record just in time for the holidays, titled "My Kind of Christmas".

A few years later, myself, Pink, Lil' Kim and Mya were featured on the soundtrack to "Moulin Rouge", performing the hit song by Patti Labelle, "Lady Marmalade". My most recent album, "Stripped" is a much bigger change then the music I did for my first album. The songs were more mature, and I had grown up. The songs on the album were very personal for me, and the title was saying that the innocent pop layers were now stripped away to show everyone the real me.

As for my personal life, I am NOT with Jordan Bratman. Yes, we dated for a long time, but we mutually decided to part ways. We're still good friends, but so everyone knows, yes I am single :)

I am in the works right now, working on my next album, which will have more of a jazzy/r&b/pop type of feel. I'm really excited about it, and hope people will like the new sound! I'm looking forward to meeting new people
